On January 15, 2025, out of concern for public safety, the FDA announced it would ban Red Dye #3 for food consumption in the United States. Jim Jones, Deputy Commissioner of the FDA, stated in an official announcement:

“The FDA is committed to food chemical safety and… a strong national food safety system is not built state-by-state. The FDA must lead the way.…The FDA is committed to continuing its evaluation of all relevant scientific information… to strengthen and update existing approaches for evaluating and monitoring chemicals.”

At first glance, this sounds reasonable. Based on “scientific information” and a commitment to a “strong national food safety system,” the FDA appears to be removing a dangerous additive for the good of the public.

However, what Jim Jones and the FDA did not tell you is that the dangers of Red Dye #3 had been known for over 30 years—and no action was taken. More significantly, the timing of this decision followed the election of Donald Trump and the appointment of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as head of HHS the day before. Kennedy had long been a vocal opponent of the dye and had openly stated his intention to ban it once in office.

The FDA’s sudden action had little to do with new science or public safety. It was political positioning. Jones simply moved first to claim credit for what was already coming. “Science” had nothing to do with it.

A recent report by the McCullough Foundation reviewed 136 CDC-backed vaccine safety studies and identified multiple examples of manipulation designed to make vaccines appear much safer than they were.

For example, in several studies, the age range used to assess autism outcomes was intentionally limited to children under four years old. This matters because autism is rarely diagnosed before that age. Developmental delays in speech, behavior, and motor skills are difficult to distinguish early on because of normal variation between children. By restricting the data set, the CDC effectively avoided capturing the majority of diagnoses. This was not accidental—it exploited a known limitation to obscure potential connections.

The pattern is clear. Whether we are looking at global warming narratives, the Piltdown Man hoax, or claims about soft tissue in supposedly 20-million-year-old fossils, scientists repeatedly use “science” as a shield for falsehood.

Unfortunately, many people place unquestioning trust in academic institutions because of respect for the scientific method. It is treated as something sacred—beyond corruption or manipulation. Yet we see today repeated examples where a strong consensus among scientists was used to promote blatant lies.

During the COVID pandemic, we witnessed near-total agreement among experts on how to respond—only to later discover that much of it was wrong, and in many cases, known to be wrong at the time.

  • We were told that distancing ourselves 6 feet apart would stop the spred, only to find out it did nothing and there was no study that showed it would.
  • We were told the vaccine would stop the spred only to find out that the MNRA treatment did not prevent transmission and only partially lessened the symptoms
  • We were told the lockdown measures would also slow the spread only to find out the every study showed they had the opposite effect.  Every lockdown heavy state had worse health outcomes during the Pandemic.
  • We were told that masks would also stop/slow the spread only to later find out that no arial transmitted disease has ever been stopped by a paper mask.

Time after time, despite overwhelming agreement, science lied.

And especially when the topic is God, science is anything but scientific.  Although all in the scientific community accept evolution as settled fact, nearly every stage of it remains unobserved and theoretical  And any evidence to the contrary is buried.

For instance the Ashley Phosphate beds. This fossil deposit in South Carolina is completely unmentioned by academia today because it contains multiple fossils that should not be together. This graveyard that contains mixed remains of man with land and sea animals, notably dinosaurs, plesiosaurs, hadrosaurs, ichthyosaurs, whales, sharks, rhinos, horses, mastodons, mammoths, porpoises, elephants, deer, pigs, dogs, and sheep. None of these animals and creatures should have existed together if the theory of Evolution is true. All attempts to explain away this have been utterly ridiculous.

Or a very common phenomena-polystrate petrified trees. In multiple locations around the world petrified trees have been found in a vertical position extending through multiple geological layers. According to the atheist experts, each geological layer represents millions of years. Any attempt by “science” to explain how a tree stood up as millions of years sediment slowly buried the tree, is found to be utterly ridiculous.

Or in the formation of Stalactites. We have been told repeatedly from all of the experts that it takes tens of thousands of years to form an inch of growth calcium carbonate. However undeniable evidence (like this steel ladder in Southern France) shows us that even in natural environments, these mineral deposits can form in years, not in tens thousands of years. All of the scientists were wrong again.

All of the scientists would like you to believe that the geological column is a neat and tidy uncontested evidence of millions of years of sedimentary deposit that can calculate date much like tree rings.   However in reality we find that there is no place on earth where all of the layers can be found. And in many places layers are missing or worse- inverted.  It is very common to find “older” layers above “younger” using highly convoluted explanations to dismiss questions.

Or the discovery of recent man made tools encrusted in stone dated to millions of years old. This hammer with the wood handle intact was found in London Texas is enclosed in a lower Cretaceous sediment that according to scientists is 140 million years old.

The scientists would all like you to believe that the foot impressions of both a human and dinosaur  left in this 110 million year old Middle Cretaceous limestone were caused by natural erosion.

Soft tissue has been found in nearly every dinosaur bone including the horn of Triceratops. Scientists would like us to believe that only in dinosaurs, blood can preserve tissue for up to 23 million years even in locations like horns and cartilage that have no blood flow.

All of the Egyptologist of prestigious universities agree in unison that the cuts made in this cylinder found in the Temple of Seti were made with copper and wood tools.

So why in all of these cases are ridicoulous scientific claims being made by the consensus of scientists?  To try and prove God is dead.

Because consensus is powerful. When experts speak with one voice, it carries authority. That authority can convince people to accept even the most ridiculous claims. This effect is especially strong on younger generations.

According to Barna Research group 70% of Christians, raised in faith, lose their faith by the time they leave college.  Why? It isn’t because there isn’t any evidence for God. It is because our education systems purposely suppress all evidence of God.  Every discipline of science has been told to conform to atheism even if it means suppressing evidence or giving utterly ridiculous explanations to the most obvious discoveries.

In reality, God is still very alive, and in fact it is science that is dead.

At some point, a man has to decide where he places his trust.
Scripture is direct about this.

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths.” Proverbs 3:5–6 (ESV)

The problem is not knowledge. It is authority. Who do we believe when the voices conflict?

“Thus says the LORD: ‘Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the LORD.’” Jeremiah 17:5 (ESV)

Time and again, human systems—whether political, academic, or scientific—have proven themselves capable of error, manipulation, and even deception. That should not shock anyone who understands human nature. Men have always been fallible. Institutions do not change that.
But God does not change.

“God is not man, that He should lie, or a son of man, that He should change His mind.” Numbers 23:19 (ESV)

The issue before us is simple: will we trust shifting consensus, or unchanging truth?

Romans 3:4 (ESV) settles it plainly: “Let God be true though everyone were a liar.”

That is not an invitation to reject knowledge—it is a warning about misplaced trust.

Science, when practiced honestly, can observe and describe the world God created. But when it is used as a tool to deny Him, it stops being science and becomes ideology. And that is the room we are in today: where science died to ideology. And yet God remains.

The faithful response is not fear, and it is not blind acceptance of authority. It is discernment. It is testing claims. And above all, it is anchoring ourselves in the Word of God.

Because in the end, systems will fail, experts will lie, and the consensus will shift to politics.
But God remains.

And a man who builds on that foundation will not be shaken.
